Learn any dance move by move with real-time pose comparison.
DanceEcho helps you learn dance moves from any video by comparing your body pose to the dancer in real-time using AI pose detection. Load a video, set a loop segment, and practice until you match.
Is my data safe?
Yes. All pose detection runs locally on your Mac using Apple's Vision framework. No video, camera data, or personal information is sent to any server.
Why does the app need camera access?
The camera is used to capture your movements for real-time pose comparison with the reference video. No photos or videos are stored unless you enable loop recording.
What video formats are supported?
MP4 (H.264/HEVC), MOV, and M4V play natively. VP9 and WebM files are automatically converted to a compatible format.
Where are recordings saved?
Loop recordings are stored in the app's local storage. You can access them via the film stack icon in the control bar, or click "Open Folder" to view them in Finder.
