Your iCloud storage is full, but you can't figure out what's eating it? It's almost always videos. The built-in Photos app doesn't offer sorting by file size — BiggestVideo does exactly that.

BiggestVideo scans your entire iCloud Photos library and shows every video sorted by real file size, biggest first. No downloads required — it reads file sizes from local metadata even when your originals live only in iCloud.

How to Use

• Open BiggestVideo — grant Photos access when prompted
• The app scans your library and shows all videos sorted by size
• Click any row to see a thumbnail preview on the right
• Use the filter field to narrow down by filename (e.g. "screen recording")
• Select videos and click Delete — macOS will ask for confirmation
• To actually free iCloud space: open Photos → Recently Deleted → Delete All

FAQ

Does it download my videos from iCloud?

No. BiggestVideo reads file sizes from local metadata that macOS keeps cached. Your originals stay in iCloud unless you explicitly open or export them.

Is deletion permanent?

No. Deleted videos go to Photos' Recently Deleted album and stay there for 30 days. You can recover them anytime during that window — either in Photos.app or at icloud.com/photos.

Why do deleted videos still count against my iCloud quota?

Apple keeps items in Recently Deleted for 30 days. Until you empty that album (Photos → Recently Deleted → Delete All), they still use iCloud storage. This is an Apple system behavior, not something the app can bypass.

Is my data safe?

Yes. All scanning happens entirely on your Mac. No files are uploaded anywhere. The app does not collect any personal data or analytics.
